What is DVAM?
DVAM is a national campaign to raise awareness about the prevalence
and cost of domestic violence, the need for prevention and the availability
of services for victims of abuse.
What is the Women's Center doing for DVAM
2006?
Throughout the month of October local domestic violence agencies
host their own calendar of educational activities and fundraisers to
promote community involvement in the movement against domestic violence.

How
can I Get Involved?
There are several ways that you can Get Involved in the WCRI's DVAM
2006 efforts:
- Hold a Dress Down Day at your office and designate the proceeds
to the WCRI
- Hold a Phones
for Fundraising cell phone drive on behalf of the WCRI
at your school/club/office
- Sell our No Excuse For Abuse bracelets and/or Women's
Pins at work, to your church group, PTA, or just
your friends and family!
