Volunteer/Intern
Opportunities
Help us provide vital services to victims of domestic violence!

Interns/volunteers receive specialized training by professional
staff in order to provide critical hotline, residential,
and administrative support services.

Supervise children during group activities. On nights and
weekends, help children do homework by giving them individual
attention and guidance.

involved in the criminal justice process. Conduct follow-up
calls to victims who have recently been involved in a domestic

have many special events throughout the year that require
assistance including cell phone drives, grant writing and
holiday celebrations.

The Men's Initiative
Hey all you guys out there, wondering how you can help out
at the Women's Center? Well wonder no more. We have a new
program called the Men's Initiative that engages men in
the movement to prevent domestic violence. You can help
out in a variety of areas including fundraising, event planning,
community outreach, and education.

If sitting at a desk does not appeal to you, consider helping
us maintain a clean and safe environment. Tasks can include
anything from washing floors to raking leaves.
