How to Give Money
If you are interested in supporting the Women's Center of Rhode Island by making a financial contribution, you may do so online by clicking here or by filling out this form and sending it with your check or money order to:

$35 buys a family breakfast, lunch, dinner and a healthy snack with milk.
$50 is enough to purchase a week's worth of milk for the shelter.
$75 is enough to buy baby supplies (diapers, wipes, etc.) for a month.
$150 will cover the shelter's grocery bill for one week.

Unique Giving Opportunities
In addition to monetary donations, there are several other ways you can raise funds for and awareness of the Women's Center of Rhode Island:

• Specify the "Women's Center of Rhode Island" on your United Way donation form
  
• Donate a used cell phone and/or coordinate a drive at your organization, church, or social group
  
• Buy one of our "Designs by Lucinda" Women, Little People, House or DV Pins as a gift for yourself or someone you love

  Please Note: Each pin is unique in its own way. Below are just a few examples of the different styles we are currently carrying.

• Buy a set of our Greeting Cards! Click here for more information.
• Send us the proceeds from your yard sale, car wash, bake sale, etc.
  
• Ask us to make a monthly deduction from your Visa or MasterCard
  
• If you work for a matching gift corporation, notify them of your donation. It only takes a minute of your time and can up to double your contribution!
  
• Consider planned giving opportunities

We are also looking for in-kind donations for both the shelter and the administrative offices. Our wish lists include the following items:

Please Note:
- We do not accept donations in large trash bags.
- We do not accept used stuffed animals in any condition.
- All clothing donations should be clean and on hangers or folded in boxes that are easy to handle.
- Due to space constraints, we cannot accept furniture donations. If you would like to donate furniture, please call the RI Donation Exchange at 401-831-5511. Our clients use this program to furnish their new homes.

Items with an * should be new, all others should be donated in excellent or good condition. All individual items that are bold and red are items that we need immediately.
