The Women's Center of Rhode Island provides safety and support to women and their children who are experiencing interpersonal abuse or homelessness due to personal crisis. In keeping with our mission, we provide a comprehensive range of services that include residential, transitional and community based programs that provide opportunities for personal transformation to all we serve. We work collaboratively to seek solutions to violence and share in the work of educating the community at large about the dynamics of violence.

Our priority list of shared values includes personal safety, interdependence, diversity, resource use, and collaboration.

Remember Mom on Mother's Day!

Spring 2008 Upcoming Events

Sunday, May 11th- Mother's Day- Honor your mother with a special gift to the Women’s Center in her name. Please respond by May 1st so an acknowledgement can be sent.

Wednesday, May 28th- Production of Vivaldi's "Gloria" 6pm- Lincoln School, 301 Butler Avenue, Providence-involving their high school chorus, Faculty Chorus and a small orchestra of students and adults. The proceeds of this performance will benefit the Women’s Center.
